UAE Abu Dhabi STEP Deep Tunnel Sewer Contract T-01 / Shield Tunnel

Summary

It was the first project in Abu Dhabi to apply Shield TBM. The tunnel is 16km length and 3 EPB type of shield TBM Machines with 5.3m in diameter were assigned. Each TBM Machine excavated about 5km length and we excavated 750m in a month which was the best record among the Korean construction companies at that time.
